CEO Jill Roberts

Following the retirement of long-standing former Chief Executive Linda Leonard, Sevenoaks Area Mind are delighted to announce the appointment of their new Chief Executive – Jill Roberts. Jill has been in post since the beginning of the year. She comes to us from Refugee Action, where she was first Strategic Director and then CEO. She brings a wealth of experience in both the statutory and voluntary sectors. Jill says:

“I have always been passionate about equality and human rights and there is no getting away from the fact that some  have more opportunities than others. I am especially passionate about individuals and groups facing real barriers in reaching their potential. My voluntary sector career has given me the opportunity and the mandate to make a positive difference to ordinary people facing extraordinary challenges. I am delighted to have been appointed as the CEO of Sevenoaks Area Mind and I am looking forward to working with cross sector partners, key stakeholders and the wider community to ensure that people with long, medium or short term mental health needs can take their full and equal part in society and our communities.”
