We have been awarded a grant of £36,000 to help pay for a worker to recruit and develop more volunteers for our work within the community. The current economic downturn has seen an increase in issues such as depression and anxiety related to money worries and unemployment, and more skilled volunteers are needed to help provide a wide range of support options for the growing number of people using our services. A local man’s island hopping cycle marathon around the Hebrides has raised over £1,500 for Sevenoaks Area Mind.
