Mind helps people take control of their mental health by providing high-quality information, advice, and campaigning to promote and protect good mental health for everyone. There are over 180 affiliated local organisations, including Sevenoaks Area Mind.

A confidential 24/7 service offering emotional support. They have information on local and national Mental Health services. People contact the helpline about many issues such as bereavement, relationship problems, loneliness,stress, and also carers in need of support. 0800 107 0160 and online.

Talk to Samaritans for confidential, non-judgmental emotional support. 08457 909090, 24/7. Support is also available by email, letter and face-to-face.

This revolutionary site is built along the lines of social networking. A limited number of places are funded by the NHS in Kent, and places are still available. Alternatively the service costs about £2 a week.
