MHFA course booking
Terms and Conditions
1. Fees
Course fees must be paid in full before the course starts. Your place is not confirmed until we have received your full payment together with a completed booking form, either paper or online via our website.
2. Payment
The course fee is £195 and this can be paid online by credit/debit card, PayPal, or internet bank transfer. Alternatively you can post a cheque payable to Sevenoaks Area Mind. Please allow two weeks for the processing and clearing of cheques. It is not currently possible to accept card payments by telephone. We do not charge VAT on our courses. If your course fee is being paid by a company or organisation who need to be invoiced, full details including any applicable reference/PO number should be included on the booking form.
3. Concessions
A limited number of discretionary discounted places are also available for those in need who are personally affected by the issues covered in the course. Please call us about this. Discounted rates cannot be claimed retrospectively.
4. Cancellation by us
The course has a minimum attendance level. If this level is not reached the course may be cancelled. We reserve the right to amend or cancel courses. If we have to cancel or postpone a course, we will try to give at least one weeks notice. You can then either receive a full refund, continue with the postponed course, or reserve a place on a subsequent course. We cannot accept liability for any losses arising as a result of cancellation or changes to the courses beyond the course fee.
5. Cancellation by you
If you have to cancel your place, this must be requested in writing or by email. For cancellations more than three weeks before the course starts, you will receive a refund of the fee minus a £20 administration charge. We are not able to offer a refund for cancellation less than three weeks before the start of the course, or if you are unable to complete the full course.
6. Non-attendance
If you are prevented from attending all or some of the course through illness or other personal reasons, you have no automatic entitlement to a refund. We will, however, consider all of the circumstances and respond in whatever way we consider fair and reasonable.
7. Disabled access
The ground floor of the building has a ramp access from the rear car park and a disabled toilet. However the course takes place on the first floor, which has standard toilets and can only be accessed via a single straight flight of stairs. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
8. Delegate conduct
Delegates, who must be 16 or over, are expected to conduct themselves appropriately. A persistently disruptive delegate may be asked to leave the course. To respect the confidentiality of participants, audio and/or visual recording during the course is not permitted. Mobile phones should be switched off or silent.
9. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance, in whole or part, of any or our obligations arising from or attributable to acts, events, omissions or accidents beyond our reasonable control.
